IBSAT is an aptitude test conducted by the Federation of Universities (FedUni), for students seeking admission into the management programs. IBSAT consists of multiple choice questions. IBSAT is for 2 hours duration and is aimed to test the applicant's ability in quantitative techniques, data interpretation, data adequacy, vocabulary, analytical reasoning and reading comprehension.

Programmes
  1.     2-year MBA Program
  2.     Postgraduate Program in Management (PGPM)
Eligibility :
    Graduates (any discipline) in English medium with 50% and above aggregate marks.
    Final year students awaiting results can also apply.

How to Apply
Applicants interested in appearing for IBSAT can apply by any one of the following methods.

A. OMR Application Form

Applicants are required to fill up the OMR Application Form enclosed and send it to the Admissions Officer, IBSAT Office (address given on the left hand side). The self attested copies of X Class, XII Class and graduation marks sheets are to be enclosed along with the OMR Application Form. The students in the final year of graduation may enclose the marksheets up to the current semester/ year.

B. Online Application

Applicants can apply online by filling up the Application Form available at website and make payment of Rs.1,200 towards the cost using Credit/Debit Card (Visa/ MasterCard/ Citibank Card) through secure internet payment gateway. Applicants applying through online should attach their scanned color photograph along with the Online Application. The IBSAT Application Material will be sent to such applicants.

C. Download of Application Form

Alternatively, applicants can download the Application Form from website, complete it and send it to the Admissions Officer along with the demand draft of Rs.1,200 towards the cost (DD in favor of "IUCF A/c IBS" payable at Hyderabad). The IBSAT Application Material will be sent to such applicants.

Documnets to be sent with application form :

The applicants applying through any one of the above modes should enclose the self attested copies of :
X Class, XII Class and graduation marksheets (Year wise/Semester wise) along with the OMR Application Form. The students applying online have to forward the attested copies of their marksheets to the Admissions Officer. The students in the final year of graduation may enclose the marksheets up to the current semester/ year.

Test Centres

IBSAT will be conducted all over India. The applicants can choose any one of the test center available for IBSAT.

The list of test centers can be obtained from the IBSAT website.

Please note that requests for change of test center will not be entertained under normal circumstances.

In the event of not having enough seats at the requested test center, applicants will be allotted the nearest alternative center. IBSAT Office reserves the right to add or delete a few test centers depending upon the situation.

The same will be intimated on the website for the benefit of applicants.

MHA

(1) The candidate must possess MBBS or an equivalent degree with a minimum experience of three years in a hospital in the relevant field or five years in general practice.
A certificate issued by the District Magistrate in support of the general practice claimed should be enclosed with the application.
(2) The candidate must have obtained a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate in all MBBS professional examinations for other category including OBC category and 50% for candidate belonging to SCs/STs.

Ph.D

(1) A degree of Master of Sciences or Master's degree in any subject allied to Bio Medical Sciences or Master's Degree in Nursing with at least 60% marks or Master of Surgery or Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree or Diplomat of the National Board of Examinations.
(2) MBBS degree with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in the professional examinations

MD/MS/MDS

1) A candidate must possess MBBS degree for MD/MS and BDS degree for MDS courses of a University recognized by the Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India and must have completed the required period of 12 months compulsory rotating internship/Practical training on or before 30th January, 2013. The candidate who complete their internship after 30th January, 2013 are not eligible to take up this examination.
2) The candidate must have obtained a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate in all the MBBS/BDS professional examinations for other category including OBC category and 50% for candidate belonging to SCs/STs.

 Application Procedure :

The prospectus is available on the website www.aiimsexams.org and must be read by the applicants before applying. The cost of online Application-cum-Examination fee is Rs.1000/- (Rs.800/- in case of SC/ST candidates).

A candidate can submit application only On-Line through Internet. Visit www.aiimsexams.org read the prospectus and other details carefully and follow the instructions given therein. The candidate can pay the application fee through a challan form (down loaded from internet while applying on-line) in any branch of State Bank of India. Transaction Processing Fee (as applicable) will be payable to the Bank by the candidate.

NOTE:

1. Candidates are required to bring AIIMS copy of Challan Form to the Examination Hall on the day of Examination and Deposit the same with Invigilator at the time of attendance.

Post-Graduate Programme in Rural Management (PRM)
PRM is a two-year residential programme comprising four different segments – classroom, fieldwork, organisational exposure and management training. The programme leads to a Post-Graduate Diploma in Rural Management (PGDRM), which is recognised as equivalent to a Master's Degree by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)

   
Eligibility: 
Graduates with minimum of 15 years (10+2+3) of education and having 50% (45% for SC/ST/PWD) aggregate marks or an equivalent GPA from a recognised Indian or foreign University / Institution are eligible to apply. The percentage of aggregate marks is to be calculated as per the practice followed by the concerned University / Institution. Final year students who expect to obtain 50% aggregate marks and will complete all requirements of graduation before June 17, 2013, can also apply. Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply.

Fees : The total programme cost over the period of two years (inclusive of tuition fee and service charges) is estimated to be about Rs. 4 lak. Costs for students are kept low through cross subsidisation.

Scholarships and Educational Loans:
Exemption from fee, and prestigious scholarships are available for desrving students. IRMA students get loan from SBI without any collateral.

Campus Placement:
IRMA facilitates meaningful placement opportunities of its students. IRMANs are highly valued in national and international development organisations, funding agencies, co-operatives and NGOs. The campus placements (100%) offer ideal combination of job satisfaction and decent compensation. PRM 2010-12 participants received an average annual salary of Rs.8.07 lakh (highest being Rs. 14.08 lakh).

Fellow Programme in Rural Management (FPRM)
FPRM is a coursework based doctoral with a residency requirement of minimum 3 years, approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

Thematic Fields of Specialisation: (a) Management of Collectives: (b) Agricultural / Rural Marketing: (c.) Natural Resources Management; (d) Development Management; (e) Micro-finance management; (f) governance and Livelihoods: (g) Rural Infrastructure and Service management; and (h) Public Policy and Non-profit Management.

Eligibility: Candidates with any one of the following :

(i) Post-Graduate degree in any discipline f4rom a recognised institution with 55% and 50% marks at graduation level
(ii) PRM from IRMA
(iii) 4 year professional degree (engineering, agricultural sciences etc.) with 60% marks and at least one year work experience
(iv) 5 year professional degree (medicine, veterinary science, architecture etc.) with 60% marks are eligible for 5% relaxation in the marks specified above. Candidates who expect to fulfill the eligibility requirement before June 17, 2013 may also apply.

Fellowship:
Every FPRM participants receives a fellowship of Rs. 14,000 per month till they clear the comprehensive qualifying examination adn then Rs. 16000/- per month and a contignecy grant of Rs. 20,000 per year for a maximum period of 4 years.

Placement : Graduating fellows have joined faculty position in IIMs, and other reputed instituttions/ universities.

Selection for PRM and FPRM:

A written test, common for both the programme will be conducted on November 11, 2012 (Sunday: 9.15 AM – 12.15 PM) at 27 centers across India. PRM participants would be selected on the basis of written test, GD and interview. FPRM participants will be selected on the basis of written test, interview and presentation of an essay. Candidates with PRM qualification applying for FPRM are exempted from the written test.

c) Take a print out of SBI challan available on IRMA website in the admission link. Make payment at any branch of SBI by using the challan. SBI would then issue a unique ID number. Use this unique ID number and apply online through IRMA website
d) Printed application material (prospectus, application form, sample question paper etc.) can be obtained from Admissions Office, IRMA, Anand - 388 001 on payment of full fees. (All the payments to IRMA should be made in the form of a demand draft favouring ‘IRMA’ and it should be payable at “Anand”)

The Following Criteria Are Common To All Programmes :

    Candidates appearing for their graduation examination can also apply but their admission to the Programmes will be subject to obtaining the required minimum cut off marks and also producing all the necessary documents, in original, within the given stipulated time.

    Those candidates who have passed, or, have appeared for graduation examination from a University where Grade Point Average is given, such candidates must produce in writing from the University concerned about the equivalent percentage for the GPA/CGPA obtained.

    The candidate must hold a Bachelor's Degree in the first attempt, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in aggregate from any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established under section 3 of UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.
    It is sole responsibility of the candidates to ascertain whether they possess the necessary and requisite qualification for the admission at NMIMS.

    If at any stage, it is found that a candidate does not satisfy the eligibility criteria or the information furnished by him/ her in the online registration is incorrect, his/her application for the admission to the Programme, even if selected, will stand cancelled. Candidates appearing for NMAT, Group Discussion & Personal Interview will do so at their own risk, eventually, forfeiting their admission for want of meeting the eligibility criteria.
    NMIMS reserves the right to alter the terms of eligibility without intimation to the applicants.

How to apply :

Pearson VUE will carry out the online registration & will conduct NMAT on behalf of NMIMS. Interested candidates have to visit the NMIMS website for online registration. For appearing for NMAT online application has to be duly submitted & payment of registration charges need to be made in any of the prescribed mode within stipulated time.

• Candidates can apply for more than one Programme / Campus as per his / her eligibility by giving preferences.
• The preferences once given cannot be changed later on.

Note : There will be three radio buttons for registration i.e MBA (Full Time), PGDM & Both (FT MBA & PGBM). A candidate who wishes to apply for more than one Campuses has to select the third option of Both and has to pay registration charges as per the above table.

The Registration charges for NMAT 2013 will be as follows :

Normal Registration
• Rs.1650/- for normal registration for FT MBA Programmes (Mumbai Campus) or PGDM Programme (In case of first two options mentioned above)
• Rs. 2000/- for both FT MBA & PGDM Programme (In case of third option)

Late Registration
• Rs. 2150/ for late registration for FT MBA Programmes (Mumbai Campus) or PGDM Programme
• Rs. 2500/- for both FT MBA & PGDM Programme

The mode of payment will be as under:

3. Demand Draft

All those who register successfully will be called for the test, provided they satisfy conditions of eligibility. It is the responsibility of the candidate to check that he/she is eligible as per the eligibility criteria stated above.

Candidates will be short-listed on the basis of the combination of their rank in NMAT and preferences.

Note: Group Discussion & Personal Interview for the FT MBA Programmes of Mumbai Campus will be conducted in Mumbai only.

The result for NMAT 2013 will be declared on the website as per the important dates available on the website. Shortlisted candidate is required to download the call letter from the website www.nmims.edu. The dates for the subsequent process will be uploaded on the website in due course. No separate call letter will be mailed.

The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the application data in terms of academic marks obtained, work experience, marks obtained in NMAT and GD/PI.

The selection criteria will be based on merit. The cut-off for deciding the merit shall lie solely with NMIMS. Also, those candidates who have applied for more than one Programme ,in their application forms, their selection will be based on the merit score obtained by them as well as on the availability of the seats. In this regard, the decision of the NMIMS will be final and undisputable and shall be binding on all concerned.

Applications are invited for the Entrance Examination for admission to Master of Computer Applications (MCA) Course 2012-13 in Kerala in AICTE approved institutions of Kerala for the academic year 2012-13

Qualifications :

a) Nativity: Applicant should be an Indian Citizen

b) Academic Eligibility:

(i) Colleges affiliated to the UNIVERSITY OF KERALA
Candidates should have passed Bachelors Degree of minimum three years duration after 10+2 level with a minimum of 50% marks in the subject component(s) in any discipline with Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Science/ Computer Application/ Engineering and Technology as a Main/ Subsidiary/ Core subject.

(ii) Colleges affiliated to MAHATMA GANDHI UNIVERSITY
A pass with not less than 50% marks in any recognised regular Bachelor’s Degree Course of minimum three years duration in any discipline with Mathematics at 10+2 level. or A pass with not less than 50% marks in any recognised regular Bachelor’s Degree Course of minimum three years duration in any discipline with Mathematics/Statistics (this does not include Business Mathematics or Business Statistics) as one of the Subjects or A pass with not less than 50% marks in BCA Degree of minimum three years duration from a recognised University.

A pass in the above prescribed qualifying examination for SC/ST candidates. SEBC candidates will be a given 2% relaxation in minimum marks prescribed for general candidates. Physically handicapped candidates will be given of 5% relaxation in the minimum marks. Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination in more than one chance in the subject (excluding languages) will have their percentage marks derated at the rate of 5% for every additional appearance.

(iii) Colleges affiliated to UNIVERSITY of CALICUT
Bachelors Degree in any discipline of three years duration with Mathematics (this does not include Business Mathematics or Business Statistics) as one of the subjects with at least 50% marks scored in Mathematics and the Course undergone under the regular programme recognised by the Calicut University. 5% relaxation in marks will be allowed in the case of SEBC candidates and for SC/ST candidates pass in examination is required.

(iv) Colleges affiliated to the KANNUR UNIVERSITY
A pass in any recognised regular Bachelor’s Degree Course of minimum three years duration in any discipline with Mathematics at 10+2 level. or A pass in any recognised Regular Bachelor’s Degree Course of minimum three years duration in any discipline with Mathematics/Statistics as one of the Subjects or A pass in BCA Degree of minimum three years duration from a recognised University.

Note: Candidates who are appearing / have appeared for the qualifying examination this year are also eligible to apply for the Entrance Examination, subject to the condition that the entire mark list of the qualifying examination shall be produced by the candidate at the time of admission.

Entrance Examination:

 The Entrance Examination will be conducted at Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam and Kozhikode on 13.10.2012 (Saturday) from 10.00 AM to 12.00 NOON. It will be of 2 hours duration and will consist of 150 Multiple Choice Questions. The Questions will cover Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, General Knowledge, General English and Fundamentals of Computer Awareness at Graduate level.

How and When to Apply: Candidates seeking admission to the Course can apply online on the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations. The website will be open for online registration from 12.09.2012 to 24.09.2012, 5 PM.

Application Fee: For General and SEBC candidates, the application fee is Rs.800/- (Rupees Eight Hundred Only) and for SC/ST Candidates, the application fee is Rs.400/- (Rupees Four Hundred Only).The required fee can be remitted at any branch of the State Bank of Travancore using the Bank Chalan which is available in the online application print out. The Original Chalan duly signed and authenticated by the bank authorities should be attached along with the print out of the application form. Candidates outside Kerala State can remit the application fee by attaching a Demand Draft for the requisite amount drawn on a Nationalised Bank in favour of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, payable at Thiruvananthapuram. Application fee will not be refunded on any account.

Last date and time for receipt of print out of application: Candidates should take printout of the online application and affix a self attested passport size photograph, identical to the one which has been uploaded, in the space provided. This application along with the required documents should be forwarded to the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Housing Board Buildings, 5th Floor, Santhinagar, Thiruvananthapuram – 695 001, either by registered post or by hand delivery so as to reach the office before 5 pm on 25.09.2012. The envelope containing the application should be superscribed “APPLICATION FOR MCA COURSE ENTRANCE EXAMINATION - 2012”.

Belated, incomplete and defective applications will be summarily rejected and no correspondence will be made in this regard. The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations will not be responsible for any postal delay.

Candidates will not be allowed to include any additional information in the application form or to submit any certificate / document claiming reservation or any benefits, after the submission of the application, under any circumstances.

Certificates submitted in the prescribed format available along with the print out of application alone will be accepted.

The candidates registered for the examination can download their ADMIT CARDS from the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in from 03.10.2012 onwards. The admit card thus obtained should be brought to the exam hall.

Allotment of Seats: The institution wise allotment will be made by Commissioner for Entrance Examinations in accordance with the rank obtained by the candidates in the Entrance Examination and the order of preference of institutions registered by the candidates during Centralised Allotment Process (CAP). The details of CAP will be notified in the website and in leading news papers. Individual intimation in this regard will not be sent to candidates.

The Entrance Examination and subsequent allotments will be based on the provisions laid down in the Prospectus for Admission to Master of Computer Applications (MCA) Course, Kerala 2012-13, approved by the Government, which is available on the web site www.ceekerala.org. Applications are invited  for entrance examination for admission to PG course in various branches for the academic year 2012-13

Duration: 3 years

The M.D (S) course is of three years duration with examinations at the end of each academic year. After completion of the three years course successfully, The Tamil Nadu Dr. M. G. R Medical University will award the Postgraduate Degree in Siddha Medicine i.e. M.D. (Siddha).

Qualification

1. A pass in B.I.M/B.S.M.S Degree Examination of any Indian University with successful completion of Compulsory Rotatory Resident Internship (C.R.R.I).

Candidates who have completed or will be completing C.R.R.I before the date of Entrance Examination alone are eligible to apply for the M.D(Siddha) Course.

OR

A pass in the examination considered equivalent to the afore- mentioned Siddha Degrees by The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai and the Central Council of Indian Medicine, New Delhi, with successful completion of Compulsory Rotatory Resident Internship (C.R.R.I) in the Hospital of Indian Systems of Medicine recognized by the Central Council of Indian Medicine, New Delhi.

2. The candidates should have registered their names in either State Council of Indian Medicine or Central Council of Indian Medicine.

Note 1: Candidates who had discontinued M.D(Siddha) course on any ground can also apply for admission if their discontinuance has not resulted in a seat being wasted. On the other hand, if their discontinuance had resulted in a seat being wasted, they can apply only after two years from the date of discontinuance.

Note 2: Candidates possessing M.D. (Siddha) degree in any discipline can apply for another discipline. But stipend will not be paid for the candidates doing M.D(S) course in another Branch for the second time.

Entrance

The candidates will have to appear for the Entrance Examination conducted by the Institute for admission to the M.D (Siddha) course for 2012-13 session.
   

Instructions regarding entrance examination
1. The Entrance Examination will be conducted on 20.10.12 in a single session of 3 hours duration (10.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m) at the venue indicated in the hall ticket.

2. The Entrance Examination will be of undergraduate level covering all the subjects taught in B.S.M.S course and the questions will be in the objective type in Tamil and English. There will be 250 objective type questions (in English and Tamil versions) with four responses (A, B, C and D).

3. Each question will carry 1 (ONE) mark. Incorrect response will have negative marking. For incorrect response 0.25 mark will be deducted, zero mark will be given for questions not answered. Indication of more than one answer or illegible response will be negatively marked. The maximum marks will be compounded to 100.

Mode of Selection

1. Admission to the course will be made on merit basis based on the marks obtained in the Entrance Examination. Total Marks for Entrance Exam is 100.

2. Candidates securing 50% or above of the total marks for the General category, Special Category (Locomotory disability) and the Reserved Category of OBC and 40% or above of the total marks for the reserved categories of SC/ST only will be eligible for counselling for M.D(Siddha) course.

3. In case more than one candidate has secured the same total marks the tie shall be resolved on the basis of the following order of priority:

i) Seniority in age.

ii) Percentage of marks obtained in the Final year examinations (Theory, Oral and Clinical marks).

iii) Least number of attempts in passing the final year examination.

4. Option and allotment of Branches will be made at the time of counselling to be conducted at the Office of the Director, National Institute of Siddha, Chennai. Candidates who are absent for counselling will lose their right for admission.

5. Branch once opted and allotted to the candidate at the time of counseling will not be changed subsequently under any circumstances.

6. The candidates who are selected for admission shall pay a sum of Rs.17,000/- Rupees Seventeen Thousand only) by way of a Demand Draft on any Nationalized Bank drawn in favour of the Director, National Institute of Siddha, Tambaram Sanatorium, Chennai - 600 047, payable at Chennai, at the time of counselling.

The amount so paid by the candidate will be adjusted against the other fees payable to the Institute. Physical Fitness Certificate from a Competent authority should be submitted at the time of joining the course.

If the candidate fails to join the course after getting allotment order and within the stipulated time the amount paid at the time of counseling will be forfeited.

7. The admission for M.D (Siddha) course will close on the cut off date prescribed by The Tamil Nadu Dr.M.G.R. Medical University for the academic year 2012-13.

Unauthorized absence by the selected candidate continuously for one month from the date of commencement of the course will be treated as ‘discontinuation of the course and the candidate will have to give a declaration to this effect at the time of counselling

1. Demand Draft for Rs.1000/-(Rupees One Thousand only) in case of General Category and Rs.750/- (Rupees Seven Hundred and Fifty only) for SC/ST category drawn on any Nationalised Bank in favour of ‘The Director, National Institute of Siddha’ payable at Chennai towards application fee.

2. Attested photocopy of evidence for Date of Birth (H.S certificate / College leaving Certificate to be furnished).

3. Attested photocopy of Transfer Certificate.

4. Attested photocopy of the Community Certificate (for OBC/SC/ST ).

5. Attested photocopy of the Special category Certificate – if applicable.

6. Attested photocopy of Statement of marks of first appearance (including failed subjects) Final year B.I.M / B.S.M.S Course.

7. Attested photocopy of Internship certificate.

8. Attested photocopy of B.I.M / B.S.M.S Degree Certificate / Provisional Certificate issued by the University.

9. Attested photocopy of the Medical Registration Certificate.

10. Two ORIGINAL latest Conduct certificates

a. One from the institution last studied

b. Original latest conduct certificate obtained from known responsible person of Gazetted rank.

11. Identification cum attendance card of the Entrance Examination.

12. Hall Ticket for the Entrance Examination 2012-13.
