How To Use Milk For Cleansing Face?
You might have heard that cleansing, toning and moisturizing are the basic skin care regime to get a glowing and clear skin. Cleansing removes dead skin cells, dirt and tightens the skin. It also helps remove makeup and make your skin look clean and clear. If you want a clear, glowing and spotless skin, you should cleanse your face regularly.

There are many ways to cleanse your face. But, you should ideally cleanse your face with milk. Cleansing milk that are available in market can not give the best results. So use natural milk to cleanse your face. Milk is one dairy product that has many health and beauty benefits. It is used in preparing many face masks. You can apply milk on your face or add in your face mask to cleanse your skin. Here are few homemade cleansers using milk for making your skin glowing and shiny.

Ways to cleanse your face using milk:
Milk and rose water: This is one of the easy-to-make cleansers using milk. Just add few drops of rose water with milk and apply on your face. Massage on the face in circular motions for 1-2 minutes. Wash off with cold water to get a cleanse the skin and close open skin pores.

Oatmeal and milk scrub cum cleanser: This is a scrub and face cleanser. If you do not get much time to scrub your face, then you can make this homemade face cleanser in a minute. Take oatmeal powder and add milk to it. Make a paste and apply it all over your face. Gently scrub on the face to cleanse and exfoliate the skin.

Milk and honey cleanser: Honey has many antioxidants so you should add few drops of honey to your face pack to get a glowing and flawless skin. Instead of applying milk alone, add few drops of honey and then massage on your face in circular motion. If you have pimples or acne, add few drops of lemon juice. Lemon juice is a natural remedy to treat acne or pimples.

Milk and papaya cleanser: Papaya has enzymes that exfoliates the skin and takes out dead skin cells easily. If you feel lazy to scrub your face, use papaya pulp. Mix with milk and apply on your face. Massage for 2 minutes and rinse with cold water to get a clean & fresh glowing skin.

Milk and carrot juice cleanser: Carrot has beta-carotene that tightens, exfoliates and moisturises the skin. You can use this vegetable to cleanse your skin, fight wrinkles and make it glow with shine. Mix grated carrot or carrot juice with milk. You can add yoghurt to make a facial cleanser. Apply on the face and massage in circular motions for about a minute. Leave for 2-3 minutes and then rinse with cold water. Milk, yoghurt and carrot can make your skin oily so you can follow up with a mild face wash.

Foods rich in iron

Iron is important for hemoglobin formation, muscle function, brain function, etc. Iron is mostly important for carrying life-giving oxygen to human blood cells. Deficiency of iron often leads to anemia, which is very common amongst pre-menopausal women due to their monthly cycles.

Good sources of iron are red meat, egg yolks, beans (soybeans and lentils), dark green vegetables such as spinach and kale, chicken, liver, seafood (fish, oysters, clams and shrimp), dried fruits, etc. Women need 12 to 15 milligrams of iron each day as recommended, compared to just 10 to 12 milligrams for men.

Calcium is an essential element of the body, and is crucial for strong bones and teeth apart from other health benefits. Adequate intake of calcium helps stave off osteoporosis, reduce obesity and prevent colon cancer.

Calcium is available in milk, curds/yogurt, cheese, egg, fish, soya bean, broccoli, spinach and all leafy vegetables.
