GATE 2013 notification released, IIT Bombay will be organizing GATE 2013 and the GATE notification available in www.gate.iitb.ac.in/gate2013. No Fees to Female candidates are exempted from paying the GATE application fee. From this year some changes in GATE exam mainly 15 subject papers will be conducted by an ONLINE computer based test in:

1. Aerospace Engineering (AE),
2. Agricultural Engineering (AG),
3. Architecture and Planning (AR),
4. Biotechnology (BT),
5. Civil Engineering (CE),
6. Chemical Engineering (CH),
7. Chemistry (CY),
8. Geology and Geophysics (GG),
9. Mathematics (MA),
10. Mining Engineering (MN),
11. Metallurgical Engineering (MT),
12. Physics (PH),
13. Textile Engineering and Fibre Science (TF),
14. Engineering Sciences (XE),
15. Life Sciences (XL).

From this year GATE Application through single online Applicant web interface. All candidate related information and grievance redressal will be available in a single GATE Online Applicant Interface. Application form - Soft copies of photograph and signature must be uploaded during GATE 2013 online application. This is in addition to sending recent photograph of applicant with signed application. Checks on the Day of GATE Exam, Biometric information like Photograph and fingerprint may be captured on the day of the examination for randomly selected candidates.

And more important thing calculation of GATE Score, A new formula will be used for calculating the GATE 2013 score. From year 2013.

From this year also candidates have to apply ONLINE only. Application Fee to General and OBC Male Applicants RS 1200/- and to SC, ST and PD* Male Applicants should pay Rs 600/- only.

• GATE 2013 Online Application submission starts from 1 – 09 - 2012
• Last date for Submission of GATE Online Application Form (website closure) 30 -09- 2012
• Last date for Receipt of printed version of Online Application at respective GATE Offices 8 -10- 2012
• GATE 2013 results will be announced on March 15, 2013 at 10:00 hrs.
