The Attacks of 26/11 : First Look of Ram Gopal Varma's
Eros International in association with Alumbra Entertainment Media presents 'The Attacks of 26/11'.

Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma invited policemen who battled Pakistani terrorists in Mumbai in 2008, to view a 7-minute sequence of the movie.

According to Varma, the 26/11 siege that killed 166 people was more terrifying than the 2001 attack in the US.

Varma, who is known for attracting publicity through unconventional methods, was slammed for being insensitive to the victims of the terrorist attacks at that time.

The events of 26/11 will always be remembered, not only the sorrow but also the valour and humanity that was displayed that day.

The content of the film is a cinematic interpretation of the tragic events.

The Attacks Of 26/11 is a Film by Ram Gopal Varma based on the 2008 attacks in Mumbai.

The film features Sanjay Jaiswal and Nana Patekar among others.

The movie gives viewers an insight of 26/11, when nine trained terrorists held Mumbai hostage for 60 hours.

The official first seven minutes of Ram Gopal Varma's film 'The Attacks of 26/11' was released on November 23, 2012.

Varma intends to release it early 2013 in both Indian and international markets.

The cast is completely new along with some known actors (Nana Patekar).

Never in the history of the world were there more terrifying attacks than those that happened on 9/11 in New York. But in the sheer audacity of their execution, the attack on Mumbai was far more shocking,

The 49-year-old ever-experimenting filmmaker said that it is one of the most important films of his career.

The director, who had visited the Taj Mahal hotel with the then Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh and actor-son Ritesh Deshmukh soon after the attacks, had denied plans of a movie on the tragedy amid huge public and media outcry.

Varma said the film is primarily meant for the international audience and is being made with a budget of around Rs 40 crores.

The attacks of 26/11 will detail every aspect of the carnage beginning with the terrorists taking over Amar solanki's trawler 'Kuber'.
