The countdown is underway for Priyanka Chopra’s singing debut. That she is a terrific actress, we all know. But is she as terrific a singer?
No cynical brow raised here for we are sure that Priyanka Chopra is going to kill it behind the microphone as well. Her first single “In My City” featuring the American rapper, musician, songwriter will.i.am will be launched at the pre-game show of NFL network's Thursday Night Kickoff (layman talk: American Football). The actress’s fans in India needn’t be disappointed for the single will be released in India about 12 hours before that.
Alas, we hear Priyanka Chopra won’t be able to attend the song’s launch at NFL's Thursday Night Kickoff coz she’s busy with the promotion of her upcoming film Barfi! which releases on Friday.
Priyanka is a big fan of rap and hip-hop. Her debut single “In My City” has been produced Lady GaGa’s producer RedOne and Brian Kennedy.
PeeCee’s debut album will release later this year.
The actress-singer shared the first covershot of her single on Twitter. She wrote: “For ur eyes only...my single cover! Say whaaaaa?”
