Anne Hathaway marries Adam Shulman

Hollywood star Anne Hathaway has tied the knot with actor and jewelry designer Adam Shulman after a four-year relationship.

The 29-year-old actress walked down the aisle in front of more than 100 guests who were invited for the wedding weekend, which started with a rehearsal dinner at the Ventana Inn and Spa in scenic Big Sur on the California coast, reported People magazine.

A nearby private estate was secured for the ceremony. The bride wore a dress by Valentino, after the designer recently confirmed he would be in charge of creating her gown, while the groom dressed in a dapper tuxedo.

The "Princess Diaries" star had asked Yifat Oren to plan the nuptials, the same person who helped Natalie Portman plan her wedding to Benjamin Millipied.

The wedding decor was inspired by nature, with many branches used to create a ceremony and reception to blend in with the majestic Big Sur surroundings, according to sources.

The couple got engaged last November.

Hathaway and Shulman celebrated their engagement at a party in New York in February with 125 friends and family members where, some of the family was meeting each other for the first time.
